GDR, Gypsy Dance Ranch est. 2004.                                         

Owner, Melanie has had horses as a child and Arabians prior in Minnesota. 

Melanie, "Horses are my heart + soul and extremely spiritual for me. 

If you have spoken with me, my Gypsy  passion is limitless! 

As a computer geek, gypsys are my hobby , breeding and showing when time permits. 

After seeing Gypsys at the MN horse expo in 2003, I became  intrigued. . . 

and the  *potato chip*  obsession began. "

In 2003  GDR imported their 1st  Gypsy mare from the UK, now 21 and in Canada.   

And NEXT, many more were imported  as Gypsy Dance Ranch was  looking for the best of the best. 

In 2005 Gypsy dance Ranch imported a UK  2004 colt of a dif. colour, a chocolate Palomino the lads said. Looked brownish to me. The 1st SIlver Dapple Stallion imported, SIR Royal Excalibur.    Many more  were imported from the UK and Germany. 

TODAY we have acquired a few foundation mares whom we still have, 2001 Gypsy Dance Diva, 2004 Lady TinkerBella  and of course SIr Royal Excalibur and Olivers GOLD "O.G";  many great mares were sold.   We now focus our breeding program with the  collection of  proper mares with the OLD deep bloodlines of legends:  Tumbleweed, Boss, Lion King, Lottery/Nobby,

Bob the Blagdon, some SD lines, BrackenHill  & Tom Price lines.

This BREED has become everything we expected and            

AMERICA is falling in LOVE!  Whats' not to Love ?
